Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Koscheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitch has chosen Till I Collapse- Eminem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Koscheck eats them both and turns towards Fitch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A right-left combo lands from Fitch.
Koscheck clinches.
Koscheck is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fitch to keep the fight standing.

Koscheck is looking for a triangle here but Fitch uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Fitch lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fitch cracks Koscheck with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Koscheck is trying desperately to improve position.
Koscheck is squirming around, avoiding Fitch's attempts to control the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koscheck sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fitch lands a nice short elbow.
Fitch not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Fitch working over Koscheck with some ground and pound. Koscheck looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fitch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Koscheck's head.
Fitch wants to control but Koscheck is keeping him busy.

Koscheck tries to kick Fitch off but Fitch keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jon Fitch hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Fitch swats away the attempt to clinch by Koscheck.

so Fitch counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fitch looking to sit in guard and control but Koscheck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Koscheck tries to stand but Fitch is controlling from the bottom.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fitch lands a really nice looking cross but Koscheck seems unphased.

Oh Koscheck is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fitch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fitch is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Koscheck hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jon Fitch!
In his post fight interview, Jon Fitch gave a big smile as he said 'Im coming for your belt David Mcdonald, and theres nothing you can do about it! .'.
