The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karakantes connects with a body shot that sends Green's belly button to the back.
Akis Karakantes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karakantes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Karakantes wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position.
Green wants to stand and escape but Karakantes is having none of it.
Green kicks Karakantes off and gets to his feet.
Karakantes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Karakantes lands in his opponent's guard.
Karakantes is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Green has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Karakantes is looking to defend but Green has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Karakantes! Green pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Karakantes taps out and this one is all over!
