Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Gi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Juliard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Juliard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gi on his heels. He'll look to pass Gi's guard now, I'm sure.

Gi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Juliard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gi has his foot on Juliard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Juliard works his way back into a safe position though.

Juliard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
