The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

De Jong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the ropes.
De Jong will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Silva up against the ropes.
Silva takes an elbow to the forehead.
De Jong tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
De Jong has Silva pressed against the ropes, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, De Jong creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Silva blocks an elbow strike from De Jong.
De Jong pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.

De Jong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Jong.
Silva throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Jong sees it coming and avoids it easily.

De Jong moves into the clinch.
De Jong pushes Silva back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Silva is trying to push De Jong away but De Jong has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

De Jong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Jong is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Silva is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
