The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for DeLorenzo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Savickiy takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Savickiy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as DeLorenzo sprawls well. DeLorenzo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Savickiy gets slowly back to his feet.

Savickiy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming DeLorenzo to the mat! DeLorenzo manages to get full guard.

Savickiy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into DeLorenzo's guard.

Savickiy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Savickiy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
DeLorenzo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Savickiy dives in and grabs DeLorenzo's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeLorenzo pushes down on Savickiy's head and hops out.

DeLorenzo lands a head kick. Savickiy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Savickiy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and DeLorenzo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Savickiy scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Alexei Savickiy has been cut.
DeLorenzo connects with a nice cross there... Savickiy is looking wobbly and DeLorenzo recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Savickiy to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - DeLorenzo jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
