Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Black Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dickey Rubinksky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Black Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dickey Rubinksky!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Man is defended easily by Rubinksky.
Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Man shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rubinksky but Rubinksky pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rubinksky's waist but Rubinksky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Man off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Black Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Man gets caught flat footed, as Rubinksky shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man trying to control but Rubinksky postures up.

Rubinksky seems to be working for a kimura but Man defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rubinksky staying busy and making it hard for Man to control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rubinksky wants to escape the position.

Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rubinksky pinned against the cage. Rubinksky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rubinksky throws a hook but Man avoids it easily.

Rubinksky drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Rubinksky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Man gets back to half guard.
Rubinksky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Man does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rubinksky is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Man has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Man!

Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rubinksky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rubinksky goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Man turns into him and now he's in Rubinksky's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rubinksky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Man's guard.

Well Rubinksky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
