Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael McCulloch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strong's entrance music is R.I.P. A fine choice. McCulloch is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Drowning Pool - Bodies. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCulloch fails with a takedown attempt.
A big left from Strong misses.
McCulloch misses with a body shot.
Strong throws an overhand right that lands on McCulloch's shoulder, as McCulloch tries to avoid the shot.
Strong looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Strong throws a front kick aimed at McCulloch's knee but McCulloch avoids it well.

Strong tries to sprawl but McCulloch drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Strong looks like he's trying to stand up.
McCulloch is trying to control the action in half guard but Strong is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Michael McCulloch was stalling too much, according to the referee.
McCulloch tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Strong counters with an outside leg kick.
Strong throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Strong misses with a body shot.
McCulloch shoots for a double leg takedown but Strong sprawls well. He's pushed McCulloch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Strong lands with a hook. McCulloch tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

McCulloch shoots in but Strong avoids the takedown attempt easily.

McCulloch takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Strong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McCulloch's calf.
McCulloch shoots in but Strong avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Strong.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Strong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of McCulloch 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Strong digs a good hook to McCulloch's body.
Strong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McCulloch's calf.
Nice uppercut lands for Strong. That snapped McCulloch's head back.
Strong is looking to wear down McCulloch with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
McCulloch tries to clinch up.

McCulloch clinches up with Strong and pushes him back against the cage.
McCulloch tries for a takedown but Strong manages to get underhooks.
Strong wants to break free but McCulloch has control.
McCulloch prevents Strong from breaking the clinch.

Strong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice leg kick lands there from Strong.
Strong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McCulloch shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strong as he jumps to the side.
McCulloch moves out of range of the strikes.
Strong throws a body kick that misses.
McCulloch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Strong counters with a body kick that stops McCulloch in his tracks momentarily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Strong.
McCulloch walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Strong, as that shot connected.

McCulloch is rocked!

McCulloch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Strong, pushing him back against the cage.
McCulloch is still on wobbly legs! Can Strong finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Strong breaks from the clinch.
Strong cracks McCulloch with a hook to the temple - McCulloch is on wobbly legs here! Strong swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! McCulloch falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Strong wins by TKO!
