The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Garcia lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cockburn doesn't seem phased though.
Left hook, right uppercut from Garcia.
Garcia throws a series of punches but Cockburn moves out of range.

Garcia connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cockburn is defended easily by Garcia.
Cockburn gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Cockburn tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Garcia is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Cockburn buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Cockburn!! Cockburn is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Garcia throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonard Garcia!
Leonard Garcia took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
