The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Luiz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Luiz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
Silva fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Luiz on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Silva throws an overhand right that lands on Luiz's shoulder, as Luiz tries to avoid the shot.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva lands a jab to Luiz's midsection.
Silva swings for the body but Luiz moves out of range.
Maguila Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luiz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
