Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Alverez - just one landing.
Alverez swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Chance cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mike Alverez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chance throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chance wants to clinch
and Alverez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chance shoots for a double leg takedown but Alverez sprawls well. He's pushed Chance's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chance tries to score with a low kick but Alverez moves his leg out of the way.

Chance's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Alverez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chance scrambles back to his feet.

Chance goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Alverez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chance but great work by Alverez.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chance drops his hands momentarily and Alverez takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Chance closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alverez circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Chance 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chance shoots in and drives through. Alverez sprawls well.

and Alverez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Alverez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chances jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

No Chance is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Chance is trying to pull guard but Alverez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Alverez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Oh Chance is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A looping hook to the body misses from Alverez. Chance does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chance finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Alverez's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Chance falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
