Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood with a jab.
Blood fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Blood feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tivs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tiv fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tiv ducks right into an uppercut from Blood.
Blood defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tiv.
Tiv slips a jab from Blood.
Tiv tries to close the distance and clinch but Blood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tiv shoots in and drives through. Blood sprawls well.
Andy Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Laxa Tiv.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blood connects with a jab.
Tiv closes the distance and clinches up with Blood, looking for a takedown. Tiv pushes Blood against the cage but Blood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tiv is defended easily by Blood.

and Blood makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Tiv scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Tiv tried to score with a low kick but Blood checks it.

and Blood counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Tiv shoots for a double leg takedown but Blood sprawls well. He's pushed Tiv's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Blood scores with a jab. Tiv acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Laxa Tiv seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blood listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Tiv is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tiv is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Blood doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Tiv crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Tiv's bad books for that mishap!
