The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullin shoots in for a takedown but Dixion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mullin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixion is looking to regain half guard here but Mullin keeps moving and retains side control.
Dixion is trying to escape the position but Mullin is controlling the position.

Mullin decides to stand back up.
Mullin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dixion.

It looks like Michael Mullin has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dixion looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mullin avoids the head kick by Dixion.
No luck for Mullin with that takedown attempt.
Mullin shoots for a double leg takedown but Dixion sprawls well. He's pushed Mullin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dixion cracks Mullin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oh Mullin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dixion drops Mullin with a big left hand! Mullin is injured, injured bad! Dixion jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
