Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geoffrey Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Test (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roberts gets caught flat footed, as Test shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Roberts is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Roberts has his foot on Test's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Test works his way back into a safe position though.
Test wants to pass the guard but Roberts is keeping the position.
Test must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Roberts utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Roberts is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Test scores with a couple of nice shots.
Test throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Test throws a strike but Roberts avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Test is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Test lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Roberts might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Test really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roberts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Test tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Test has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Test swings around for an armbar but Roberts sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Test's guard.

Roberts drops back looking for a leg! Test is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Test manages to kick Roberts off! Roberts jumps back into Test's guard.

Roberts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Test flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Roberts is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Test defends it well.
Test wants to improve his position but Roberts is controlling well.

Roberts moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Test.
Test regains half guard.
Test missing with punches from the bottom.

Roberts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Test doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roberts.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Test tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crash Test dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Test throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Roberts tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Test is in Roberts's guard.

Test stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Roberts throws up his legs and catches Test in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Test tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Roberts! That came out of nowhere!
