Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jocab Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Stoker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoker throws a leg kick but Sims checks it.
Sims misses with a kick to the body.
Stoker works the jab nicely.
Sims avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sims lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stoker circles away quickly and effectively.
Sims misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Stoker rushes Sims and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sims blocks an uppercut.
Stoker lands a hook that snaps the head of Sims backwards.

Sims breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stoker cracks Sims with an open hand slap.
Sims defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stoker.
Stoker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sims.
No luck for Sims with that takedown attempt.
Stoker misses with a wild body shot.

Good exchange - Stoker coming out on top.
Sims shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jocab Sims. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sims misses with a head kick.
Sims shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stoker but Stoker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stoker slaps away a takedown attempt from Sims, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sims takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stoker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sims moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sims tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stoker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sims somewhat.
A punch lands to the side of Sims 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Stoker swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sims.

Stoker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sims shoots in and bounces Stoker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sims is breathing heavily.
Stoker controls Sims momentarily but Sims frees himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stoker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Sims's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab from Stoker finds it's way through Sims's defenses.

Sims throws a sloppy head kick and Stoker moves out of range easily.

Sims fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stoker to the ground. Sims is now in Stoker's guard.
Stoker is adopting a defensive guard.
Sims working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Sims slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sims throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stoker dodges the punch combination from Sims.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sims is defended easily by Stoker.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jocab Sims will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Stoker dives in and grabs Sims's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sims pushes down on Stoker's head and hops out.
Sims takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sims wants to clinch up but Stoker keeps it at a distance.
Sims moves in looking to clinch but Stoker pushes him off.
Stoker lands a nice looking body shot.
Stoker cracks Sims with a good jab.
Stoker keeps the fight on the outside.
Sims shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stoker counters with a series of strikes. Sims will be more careful next time no doubt.

Sims manages to break the clinch.
Stoker lands with a shot to the body.
Jocab Sims is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sims manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stoker on his heels. He'll look to pass Stoker's guard now, I'm sure.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sims drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sims as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Stoker screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sims! Nice submission victory there!

Jocab Sims decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
