With a record of 5 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bas Rutten!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Hanson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rutten tries to clinch up but Hanson circles away and keeps his distance.

Rutten fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hanson avoids it really well and circles away.

Hanson closes the distance and clinches.

Hanson wants to get back to striking at distance but Rutten won't allow it.
Hanson jumps guard but Rutten turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Rutten manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rutten is on top in guard.
Hanson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rutten is one step ahead there.

Rutten drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rutten jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rutten seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hanson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
