The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brood misses with a wild body shot.
Brood blocks a low kick nicely.
Trochowzski slips under a jab.
Trochowzski lands a body shot.
Trochowzski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trochowzski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brood throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Trochowzski lands a big uppercut and Brood crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brood looks OK. Trochowzski waves Brood back to his feet!

It looks like Caladan Brood has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Trochowzski is looking for a sweep.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Brood's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Brood jumps guard but Trochowzski turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Trochowzski lands a hook that snaps the head of Brood backwards.

Caladan Brood's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Trochowzski scores with a shot to the side of Brood's head.
Trochowzski lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brood backwards.

Brood takes an elbow to the temple.
Oh Brood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Caladan Brood's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Trochowzski lands a vicious elbow to the side of Brood's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Trochowzski tries to finish him with strikes but Brood still seems able to defend himself so Trochowzski steps back and lets Brood get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Caladan Brood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
