Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Dongalletta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Doon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dongalletta if he has to take too many more of those.

Doon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dongalletta has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dongalletta tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Doon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dongalletta gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dongalletta gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Doon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dongalletta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dongalletta manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
