Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes to the cage accompanied by country roads. Velazquez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Since the Flood- "Valor and Vengeance kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joey Snow has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velazquez lunges at Snow with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Snow's hand.
Snow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velazquez tries to avoid it but Snow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velazquez to the ground. Velazquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Velazquez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A shot to the liver by Velazquez. Beautiful body shot.
Velazquez connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Joey Snow has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Snow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Velazquez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Velazquez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Velazquez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Snow is looking to work some ground and pound but Velazquez has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow wants to control from the top but Velazquez keeps moving.
Velazquez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Snow wants to pass the guard but Velazquez is keeping the position.
Snow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Snow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Snow stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Velazquez lands a head shot.
Ari Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Oooooh!!! Velazquez has knocked Snow down with a huge combo! Velazquez steps away and waves a wobbly Snow back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Snow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Velazquez as he jumps to the side.
Velazquez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Snow is rocked!
Snow shoots in and drives through. Velazquez sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Velazquez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Snow is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Velazquez lands with an overhand left.
Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Velazquez fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Snow out cold! Brutal finish!
