Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Robicheaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bryce ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Robicheaux.

ahr clinches up with Robicheaux and pushes him back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Robicheaux.
ahr goes for a takedown attempt but Robicheaux pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

ahr gets a takedown into half guard.
ahr wants to take a breather but Robicheaux is having none of it.

Robicheaux is looking for a triangle here but ahr uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

ahr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robicheaux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Robicheaux seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Robicheaux is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. ahr can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
ahr tries to lock up and control but Robicheaux gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
