Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blue Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wanderlei Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boyd napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Boyd looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boyd is looking for a sweep.
The ground and pound from Silva seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Boyd looks to move to half guard but instead Silva has passed into mount! Damn!
Silva misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyd in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Boyd is rocked!
It looks like Blue Boyd has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Boyd goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Silva!
