Barnes comes into the arena with Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be blaring out of the sound system. Nate Barnes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Justin Hodges's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodges on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Barnes throws a body punch but Hodges moves out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Barnes.
Hodges looks gassed!
Hodges takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barnes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Barnes.
Barnes chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Barnes scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Justin Hodges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barnes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hodges's calf.
Barnes throws an uppercut from hell that sends Hodges clean off his feet! He's out cold! Barnes stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

In his post fight interview, Nate Barnes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
