The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blastoise misses with a wild body shot.
Blastoise walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spencer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Blastoise shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spencer but Spencer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Blastoise shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spencer pinned against the cage. Spencer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spencer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Spencer wants it to stay on the feet.
