Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergiusz Andrzejak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrzejak misses with a body kick.

Carrasco closes the distance and clinches.
Andrzejak tries to circle away but Carrasco has him pinned against the cage.
Andrzejak is pressed up against the cage. Carrasco has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Andrzejak down to the mat. Andrzejak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Andrzejak throws a sloppy head kick and Carrasco moves out of range easily.

Carrasco takes the fight into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Andrzejak's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Andrzejak wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Andrzejak is trying to break the clinch but Carrasco has him pressed against the cage.

Andrzejak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Andrzejak lands a front kick.
Carrasco goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Carrasco tries to clinch up but Andrzejak circles away and keeps his distance.

Carrasco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Andrzejak paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Andrzejak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Andrzejak wants it to stay on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carrasco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andrzejak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carrasco somewhat.
Andrzejak connects with an inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergiusz Andrzejak will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Sergiusz Andrzejak will probably get the nod.

Andrzejak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carrasco was covering up waiting for the punch and Andrzejak finishes the takedown easily into guard.
