Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Markinton Reefo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spike Dudley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reefo.
Reefo throws a right hand that Dudley ducks under and follows up with a left that Dudley also avoids with ease.
Dudley slips a jab and a cross from Reefo.
Reefo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dudley back to the cage. Reefo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Dudley shoots in and gets a takedown into Reefo's guard.
Dudley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dudley sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Reefo wants to stand up but Dudley is controlling him.
Dudley tries to stand but Reefo is controlling from the bottom.

Reefo is looking to stand up but Dudley isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Spike Dudley was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Reefo blocks a head kick by Dudley.
Reefo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dudley.
Reefo misses with a combination

and Dudley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Reefo wants to stand but Dudley is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dudley wants to control from the top but Reefo keeps moving.
Dudley prevents Reefo from getting back to his feet.
Dudley looking to pass the guard.
Dudley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dudley stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Sloppy strikes from Reefo. Those never looked like landing.
Dudley dodges the punch combination from Reefo.

Dudley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dudley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Reefo manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Dudley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dudley showed some decent athleticism there.
Dudley looks gassed!
Dudley prevents Reefo from standing back up.
Reefo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dudley is working for a submission of some sort.
Reefo is trying to stand back up but Dudley is controlling him

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Dudley decides to return to a standing position.

Dudley forces Reefo back against the cage and clinches.
Reefo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Reefo is trying to break the clinch but Dudley has him pressed against the cage.

Dudley is trying to trip Reefo. He has hold of a leg but Reefo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dudley persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reefo wants to stand up but Dudley is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Reefo pushes Dudley off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spike Dudley dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Dudley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Reefo tries to bum rush Dudley with a series of wild strikes but Dudley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reefo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Reefo enables Dudley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reefo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Dudley wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Reefo's closed guard. He's half up but Reefo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Reefo pivots and extends the arm, Dudley falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Reefo! Well done that man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Markinton Reefo!
