Mir's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Skrillex - Ruffneck . Zoltan Soljernitskin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frank Mir's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir wants to clinch but Soljernitskin slips to the side

and Soljernitskin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Soljernitskin prevents Mir from getting back to his feet.
Soljernitskin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Soljernitskin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Soljernitskin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Soljernitskin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mir swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soljernitskin on the ground.

Soljernitskin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mir is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Soljernitskin, into his guard.
Soljernitskin wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
