Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Ottway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takamoura Mamarou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamarou comes into a darkened arena with his song building. R Kelly-World Greatest kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Takamoura Mamarou looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takamoura Mamarou!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Ottway as Mamarou shoots in.
Ottway closes the distance and clinches up with Mamarou, looking for a takedown. Ottway pushes Mamarou against the cage but Mamarou circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ottway shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mamarou sprawls well. Mamarou wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ottway gets slowly back to his feet.
Mamarou fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ottway avoids it really well and circles away.
Mamarou shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mamarou showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mamarou working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mamarou is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ottway has managed to free his arm - good work.
Mamarou is working for a submission of some sort.
Mamarou wants to control but Ottway is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ottway wants to get back to his feet.
Mamarou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mamarou uses his free foot to push down on Ottway's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ottway.
Mamarou is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ottway has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ottway is trying desperately to improve position.
Mamarou working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ottway looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Mamarou! Submission of the night perhaps?
