Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Hurrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Marcino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcino works over Hurrell's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Jake Hurrell has been cut.
Hurrell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marcino's waist but Marcino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hurrell off to one side.
Hurrell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hurrell wants it to stay on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hurrell is defended easily by Marcino.
Hurrell throws a right hand that Marcino ducks under and follows up with a left that Marcino also avoids with ease.

Marcino is persistently looking for the submission but Hurrell is defending it well.

Marcino has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hurrell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Marcino shoots in looking for a takedown. Hurrell tries to sprawl out of it but Marcino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hurrell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
