The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar blocks a head kick by Guns.
Spar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Guns sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Spar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guns as he jumps to the side.
Guns tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Guns slaps away a takedown attempt from Spar, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Spar shoots in for a double leg but Guns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Spar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spar lands in his opponent's guard.

Spar wants to control from the top but Guns keeps moving.

Spar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Guns's guard.
Spar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spar passes the guard and advances to mount!

Guns is bucking up trying to escape but Spar cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Leroy Guns has been cut.

Guns in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
