The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lokic is trying to stick to Grey's back but Grey is turning into Lokic. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lokic's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Grey.

Lokic has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Grey is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lokic.

Grey has control of Lokic's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lokic regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Lokic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Grey is proving hard to escape from.

Lokic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lokic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lokic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
