The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera tries to bum rush Dumonte with a series of wild strikes but Dumonte uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A jab lands there for Dumonte.
Dumonte smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rivera tries to clinch but Dumonte moves out of range.
Rivera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dumonte throws a head kick but Rivera moves out of range.

Rivera drops back looking for a leg! Dumonte is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dumonte manages to kick Rivera off! Rivera jumps back into Dumonte's guard.
Rivera tries to free his leg and advance position but Dumonte is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rivera bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dumonte sneaks out the side door and pushes Rivera away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Rivera shoots in for a double leg but Dumonte sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Dumonte knocks Rivera out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
