Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Crushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crushkin has chosen Arcturus - Ad Absurdum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolai Crushkin!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crushkin closes the distance and clinches.

Crushkin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Crushkin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ba misses with a few strikes there.
Crushkin misses with a looping right.
Ba falls off balance throwing a combination

and Crushkin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Crushkin blocks a body shot from Ba.
Come on Ba - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Crushkin unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Ba is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crushkin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ba after a bit of a struggle.

Crushkin breaks from the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ba lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crushkin circles away quickly and effectively.
Ba takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Crushkin looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Crushkin backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Ba's temple! It sends Ba violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Crushkin celebrates and the doctors try to help Ba!
