Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Caraan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caraan comes to the cage accompanied by TubThumping(I get Knockdown). Devin Townsend has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caraan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Townsend can pounce on him.

Townsend gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Caraan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Caraan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Caraan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Townsend is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Townsend working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Caraan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Caraan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Caraan drops back looking for a leg! Townsend is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Townsend manages to kick Caraan off! Caraan jumps back into Townsend's guard.

Caraan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Townsend has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Caraan has managed to get both his arms back between Townsend's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Caraan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Caraan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Townsend has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Caraan is looking to defend but Townsend has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Caraan! Townsend pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Caraan taps out and this one is all over!
