The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokoudjou tries to bum rush Nazario with a series of wild strikes but Nazario uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nazario steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sokoudjou.
Nazario keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sokoudjou.
Sokoudjou throws a series of punches but Nazario avoids them all with ease.
Sokoudjou throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sokoudjou throws a series of punches but Nazario moves out of range.
Sokoudjou looks to land a combination but Nazario avoids it well.

and Nazario counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Nazario is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sokoudjou is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Nazario is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sokoudjou is trying to escape and Nazario transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sokoudjou is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nazario! Very nice indeed!
