Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dartanyan Huntington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Sylvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huntington kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is "Down From The Sky" by Trivium. Dartanyan Huntington has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylvia throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Huntington.
Nice sprawl there from Huntington as Sylvia shoots in.
Huntington could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Huntington drives through with a takedown into guard.
Huntington connects with a couple of short punches.
Sylvia has momentary wrist control but Huntington slips an elbow through the middle.
Huntington is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sylvia is trying to control the position but Huntington postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huntington chips away with some ground and pound.
Huntington cracks Sylvia with a solid left hand.

Sylvia has his foot on Huntington's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huntington works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huntington tries to free his leg and advance position but Sylvia is retaining full guard.
Huntington keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sylvia's head.
Huntington trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Huntington postures up in Sylvia's guard and throws a big left but Sylvia blocks it.
Sylvia wants to get back to his feet but Huntington is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Huntington looks to score with a jab to the body but Sylvia is just out of range.
Huntington tries to keep at a distance but Sylvia has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sylvia tries to land knees in the clinch but Huntington avoids the damage to the body.
Sylvia is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Huntington can't fight it off and eventually Sylvia manages to take the fight to the floor. Huntington looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Huntington has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Huntington wants to sweep here but Sylvia controlling him for the moment.

Huntington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sylvia's guard.
Huntington lands a couple of decent looking shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Huntington accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Huntington with a flurry of punches that miss.
Huntington stops Sylvia from standing up.
Sylvia looks gassed!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sylvia is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Huntington postures up in Sylvia's guard and throws a big left but Sylvia blocks it.

Huntington is in close to Sylvia's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sylvia walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sylvia moves out of range of the strikes.
Huntington lands with a hook. Sylvia tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Huntington just misses with a punch to the body.
Huntington takes a swing at Sylvia's ribcage but misses.
Huntington is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sylvia.
Huntington fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sylvia manages to avoid it.
Sylvia has his takedown stuffed
and Huntington counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Huntington.
Huntington stands and throws Sylvia's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Sylvia struggling a bit here.
Huntington tries for a kimura but Sylvia is defending well.
Huntington lands some shots froms side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sylvia tries to bench press Huntington off him but Huntington keeps the position.
Huntington is working to tighten is grip on Sylvia's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sylvia has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Huntington is really squeezing tight and eventually Sylvia passes out! Huntington breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
