The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott throws a sloppy head kick and Belfort moves out of range easily.
Belfort misses with a jab, cross combination.
Abbott works over Belfort's head and body with a nice combination.
Belfort scores with a body shot.
Abbott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Belfort as he avoids it easily.
Belfort ducks right into an uppercut from Abbott.
Abbott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Abbott digs a good body shot into Belfort's ribs.
Belfort displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Abbott.

Abbott walks straight into a right hand from Belfort - that's dropped him! Belfort jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Abbott from any more punishment! Abbott complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
