Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka has chosen Queen - I Want It All (extended version) as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka misses with a kick to the body.
Norris tries to clinch but Boyka is having none of it.
Norris showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boyka.

Boyka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Norris dodges the ground and pound from Boyka.
Boyka controls the position.
Boyka wants to control but Norris is keeping him busy.
Boyka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boyka lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Norris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boyka on the ground.

Boyka is trying to get an arm triangle but Norris is defending well.

Norris takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
It looks like Boyka might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boyka decides to stand back up. Boyka steps back and let's Norris get back to his feet.
Norris tries to land a front kick but Boyka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Norris throws out a leg kick but Boyka moves out of range and Norris only half commits.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Norris as he jumps to the side.

It looks like Uri Boyka has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boyka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Norris defends it nicely.
Norris throws a right hand that Boyka ducks under and follows up with a left that Boyka also avoids with ease.

Boyka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Norris manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Boyka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Norris's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Norris feints and then cracks Boyka's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boyka down.

Boyka stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Norris.

Norris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Norris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boyka. That did some damage!

Norris leaves Boyka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
