Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Una Kemeameahu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kemeameahu's entrance music is Ride of the Valkryes. A fine choice. Lopez has chosen Desabafo as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemeameahu tries to clinch but Lopez moves away
and Lopez counters with a stiff right hand.
Kemeameahu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lopez is fending him off so far but Kemeameahu persists. Nope, Lopez circles away and we're back to standing.
Lopez swings for the body but Kemeameahu moves out of range.
Kemeameahu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lopez.
Kemeameahu wants to clinch up but Lopez keeps it at a distance.
Lopez clobbers Kemeameahu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice straight punches there by Lopez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lopez.

It looks like Una Kemeameahu has been cut.
Kemeameahu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lopez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lopez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kemeameahu back to the cage. Lopez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kemeameahu shoots in but Lopez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lopez swings for the body but Kemeameahu moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kemeameahu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Kemeameahu is working to tighten is grip on Lopez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lopez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kemeameahu is really squeezing tight and eventually Lopez passes out! Kemeameahu breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Una Kemeameahu!
A very excited looking Una Kemeameahu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
