PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes to the cage accompanied by country roads. Torres is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All I Do Is Win. Joey Snow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Torres!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Snow wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.
Torres avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Snow prevents Torres from getting back to his feet.
Snow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Torres utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Snow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Torres's guard.

Snow is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Torres is just riding it out for now. Snow eventually gives up the hold.

Snow closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Torres did well to prevent Snow getting side control.

Snow feints and as Torres raises his hands in defense, Snow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Snow is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torres can do to turn this around?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Snow moves into the clinch successfully.
Snow is trying to drag Torres to the mat but Torres just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Snow has Torres pressed against the cage, preventing Torres from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Torres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Snow has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
