Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keep It Real (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Summers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keep It Real!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Summers !
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers avoids the body shot from Real.
Real fails in his attempt to clinch.
Real swats away the attempt to clinch by Summers .
Real dodges the punch combination from Summers .
Real is looking to clinch but Summers is avoiding it.

Real shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Real was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Summers sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Real tries to stand and escape but Summers actually recovers to full guard.
Real throws a big right hand that misses.
Summers controlling the position.
Real controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Real decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Summers , up you get!
Summers wants to clinch.
Summers throws a series of punches but Real avoids them all with ease.
Real throws a head kick that misses
and Summers counters with a two punch combo.
Summers fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Summers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Real wants to clinch up but Summers keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Real looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Real throws a head kick that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Real shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Real showed some decent athleticism there.
Real seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Real is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Summers defends it well.
Real wants to pass the guard but Summers is defending well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Summers manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Summers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Summers wants to stand up but Real has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Summers wants to work for an arm triangle but Real is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Summers tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Real is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
It looks like Summers is going to stand back up.
Summers trying to control from half guard but Real is working away.
Summers prevents Real from improving his position.
Real tries to kick Summers off but Summers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Summers is thwarting Real's attempts to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Summers passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Real!
Summers landing strikes from the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keep It Real will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Real misses with a jab, cross combination.
Keep It Real is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Summers shoots and misses

and Real counters with a shoot takedown. Summers fights it but they end up in guard.
Real looking to sit in guard and control but Summers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Real might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Real looking to hit a scissor sweep but Summers is one step ahead there.
Real working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Summers .
Summers pushing down on Real's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Summers is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Summers is trying for a kimura here. Real looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Summers wins by kimura!
