Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Opaki Ljevpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Sanguine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanguine loads up on a big right hand but Ljevpo slips the punch.
Ljevpo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sanguine counters with a slapping leg kick.

Sanguine has managed to clinch.
Sanguine tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ljevpo's elbow.

Sanguine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sanguine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sanguine fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ljevpo blocks a head kick by Sanguine.
Sanguine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ljevpo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanguine swivels and escapes.

Ljevpo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ljevpo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ljevpo postures up in Sanguine's guard and throws a big left but Sanguine blocks it.
Ljevpo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sanguine's head.

Sanguine is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ljevpo defends well.

Sanguine working for a triangle but Ljevpo defends it easily.

Ljevpo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sanguine controls Ljevpo momentarily but Ljevpo frees himself.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ljevpo stands up over Sanguine, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanguine has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ljevpo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sanguine has tightened it up now! Ljevpo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
