Diaz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Deftones - Feiticeira. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Wakizashi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Diaz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wakizashi. Wakizashi obviously looking to wear him down.
Wakizashi lands with a nice body kick.

An inside leg kick lands from Wakizashi.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wakizashi but Wakizashi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Diaz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Wakizashi. That one must have hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wakizashi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A slapping body kick lands there for Wakizashi.

Wakizashi lands a big head kick that sends Diaz tumbling to the mat! Wakizashi takes a step backwards and waves Diaz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Good leg kick by Wakizashi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wakizashi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wakizashi throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Diaz crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

A very excited looking Kabuto Wakizashi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
