The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Esko!
Esko scores with a head kick.

It looks like Efrain Vera has been cut.
Esko misses with a low kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Esko, right into the meat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vera.
Esko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vera.

Vera closes the distance and pushes Esko back into the cage.

Esko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vera steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Esko. That one must have hurt.
Good leg kick by Esko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Esko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Esko lands a big head kick that sends Vera tumbling to the mat! Esko takes a step backwards and waves Vera back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vera on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Esko. Esko obviously looking to wear him down.
Vera on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Efrain Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vera is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Esko Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Vera is out cold, face down on the mat!
