The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valbuena keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

O Connor gets control of Valbuena's arms and successfully pulls guard. O Connor will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

O Connor looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Valbuena is defending well. O Connor quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Valbuena has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
