Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 83 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kiwi Bird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva prevents Bird from breaking the clinch.
Bird is fighting off a takedown attempt but Silva is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bird to the mat. Bird regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bird might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silva missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Silva advances position into side control!
Silva has hold of Bird's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bird tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Bird screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bird, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
