Lockley comes to the cage accompanied by Disney's Gummy Bears Intro (Rus). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lockley gets caught napping as Safire dives in and scores a takedown. Lockley manages to retain guard.
Safire trying to control but Lockley is working from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lockley holds on and takes a little breather.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Safire bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Safire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Safire has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lockley is looking to get to half guard.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Fred Safire!
A very excited looking Fred Safire made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
