PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silco Deans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Beauvais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silco Deans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Beauvais!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deans circles away from the clinch attempt
and Deans counters with a three punch combo that has Beauvais backing up. Beauvais nods at Deans to acknowledge the strikes.
Deans misses with a head kick.
Beauvais shoots in looking for a takedown. Deans tries to sprawl out of it but Beauvais keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Deans manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Deans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Beauvais misses with a kick to the body.
Beauvais wants to clinch but Deans slips to the side
and Deans counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Travis Beauvais has been cut.
Deans throws a series of punches but Beauvais moves out of range.
Deans throws a right hand that Beauvais ducks under and follows up with a left that Beauvais also avoids with ease.
Deans lands a two punch combo.
Deans throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Beauvais's head.
Deans feints a jab promting Beauvais to slip. Deans then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Beauvais slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That has opened up Travis Beauvais's cut even more.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Deans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beauvais circles away quickly and effectively.
Deans blocks a head kick by Beauvais.
Beauvais throws the kick towards the body but Deans avoids it.
Deans goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Deans pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Beauvais back to the cage. Deans follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The cut above Travis Beauvais's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Beauvais throws a sloppy head kick and Deans moves out of range easily.
Deans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deans is working the combinations to good effect here.
Deans lands a jab-cross combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Deans leaves Beauvais with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Beauvais looks gassed!
Deans throws a combination. Beauvais tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Travis Beauvais's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Travis Beauvais's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
