Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rashad Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben sr!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sr on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Evans. Evans obviously looking to wear him down.

Evans throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. sr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Evans is in sr's guard.
sr will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
sr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Evans is controlling him.
sr thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Evans lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Evans, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
