Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanley Ipkiss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trash Talker!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ipkiss attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Talker scores with a nice strike.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Talker.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Talker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ipkiss, who protects the arm well.

Talker swings around for an armbar but Ipkiss sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Talker's guard.
Talker is looking to stand back up but Ipkiss counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Talker.
Talker wants to get back to his feet.

Talker has one foot on Ipkiss's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Talker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ipkiss is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Talker decides to stand back up.

Talker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Talker looking to sit in guard and control but Ipkiss gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ipkiss stops Talker from standing up.

Ipkiss wants to stand but Talker has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ipkiss decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Trash Talker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ipkiss tries to land a leg kick but Talker saw it coming and moves away.
Talker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ipkiss backs up against the cage.

Ipkiss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Talker to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Talker gets to his feet - Ipkiss follows without any prompting.

Talker closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ipkiss quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like Talker is going to stand back up.

Talker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ipkiss is trying to defend but Talker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Talker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ipkiss is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Talker, into his guard.

Talker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Talker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ipkiss sees it coming and defends easily.

Talker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Talker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ipkiss!

Talker gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Talker tries to bum rush Ipkiss with a series of wild strikes but Ipkiss uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Talker drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ipkiss keeping moving, preventing Talker from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Talker stands and steps away. Ipkiss gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Talker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ipkiss gets to his feet. Talker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ipkiss kicks Talker off and gets to his feet.

Talker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ipkiss to the ground. Talker is now in Ipkiss's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Talker has gone for a leg lock! Ipkiss slips out almost immediately though and dives into Talker's guard.

Ipkiss gets to his feet - Talker follows without any prompting.

Talker tries to stand and escape but Ipkiss is controlling the position.

Talker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ipkiss is just riding it out for now. Talker eventually gives up the hold.

Talker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Ipkiss has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Talker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Talker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ipkiss sprawls well initially but Talker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Talker is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Ipkiss still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Ipkiss has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Stanley Ipkiss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ipkiss stands up and beckons Talker to his feet.

Trash Talker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Talker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
