The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Searing shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Searing must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Destroyer is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Destroyer pushes down on Searing's leg and manages to get into half guard.

A very excited looking Rocco Destroyer rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
