Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kaplan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan has chosen The real American as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan has a takedown stuffed.
A punch lands to the side of Hogan 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.

Kaplan throws a left that rocks Hogan and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kaplan dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hogan regain composure!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hogan parries the strikes from Kaplan easily there. Kaplan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hogan to escape.
Hogan is still in real trouble! Can Kaplan finish him?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That has opened up Hulk Hogan's cut even more.

Hulk Hogan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hulk Hogan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
